GENOME
HELLO!!!!
my sis is currently reading a very interesting book, its called GENOME by MATT RIDLEY.. i was captivated by simply reading the preface..
here is a short little part of a interesting part of the book:
Imagine that the genome is a book
There are twenty-three chapters, called CHROMOSOMES.
Each chapter contains several thousand stories, called GENES.
Each story is made up of paragraphs, called EXONS, which are interrupted by advertisements called INTRONS.
Each paragraph is made up of words, called CODONS.
Each word is written in letters called BASES.
its a pity that i couldn't read now as my sis wants to read it.. haha.. but luckily shuyan found that book in the library.. i will get to read it after her.. hehe..
