Guitar Ensemble.. YOU GUYS ROCKS maN!!!!!! i really can't believe my ears when they announced that we've gotten a GOLD.. ---- we screwed up the whole of the running parts for concerto...... HOWEVER, bridge over troubled waters was fascinating.. it was the best that we've ever played... Today was horrendous.. i had a tiring day yesterday.. almost fell sick (was on the verge of falling ill).. den woke up realising that it was pouring outside.. and the first thought that came to my mind was, how am i supposed to get to school with the long pants and the court shoes??? haha.. next.. i think i was too nervous and had diarrhoea thrice.. almost went for the fourth time.. after that, after the mini ensemble prac, i injured the little finger on my left hand.. all my 10 fingers cannot afford to get injured.. [it was like the importance of nt eating heaty & spicy food for the choir members.. (sorry couldn't find any better comparison-- heard it from a fren of mine.. long ago)] it hurts a lot.. i was so afraid.. i kept praying throughout the day.. and He answered my prayers. He has always been there for me..
oh ya, after that we went into the tuning room, rushing like mad.. played the two piece like mad man like tat.. rush until Mr. Liauw had to keep telling us to slow down.. we weren't mentally prepared... BUT.... Mr. Liauw, our dear conductor.. he really has a great influence on us.. when he conducted bridge over troubled waters during the judging, he was singing the whole song to us.. i was so tempted to sing along too (many others too).. but but but.. i realised that there are audience and judges.. so i restrained myself and smiled instead.. hehe.. it was so scary... but bridge was really terrific.. i just couldn't say how nice it was... when we were practising bridge, we always played very fast.. it really amazed me..
We would really like to thank our Teacher-in-charge, Mr Ng Kar Kit. always there during practices for us.. always imparting us his skills.. hehe.. and giving us endless treats... hehe.."Teacher!!! teacher!!" ;"What thing? what thing?" & "How come? How come?" haha... (okok.. internal joke)
